Okay, so it’s “freezing” here in Southern California… and by freezing I mean in the low 60s. My body hated this weather change though, as I have been sicker than a dog the past four days and can’t shake it. Resting just makes me feel horrible, but then when I go out somewhere I feel even worse. I’m not good at being sick. Today though I wanted to be sure to at least get this shoot done, so I can put a new post up for everyone. It’s been awhile. Even though today was super cold and I’m sick on top of it all, I still managed to stay warm and cozy in this new suede miniskirt my mom got me for Christmas. I’ve been wanting one of these skirts for a really long time now. I’m just super obsessed with suede right now for some reason? I think it’s my inner native side coming out. So, here’s how to stay warm in winter with your favorite miniskirt:

1)  Wear three layers on top. I wore a shirt, denim button up, and sweater to stay warm on top.

2) Wear thick over-the-knee socks.

3) Wear comfy over-the-knee boots to keep your exposed legs extra warm.

4) Try to stay inside as much as possible…(this is what really helped for me obviously). HAHA

So it seems like common sense, but I just thought I’d share so everyone can still wear there favorite skirt or shorts from summer they just bought and barely got to wear. Talk soon!

P.S. – Is there anything in particular that you guys want to know? Let me know!

Love always,

Kortney
